IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR WEST VOLUSIA RESIDENTS

The DeLand One-Stop Center is moving to Orange City

The relocation will take place in a two-step process. First the center will be temporarily located at: 822-1 Saxon Blvd. Orange City, FL 32763, in the Orange City Market Plaza. The second relocation will occur upon completion of renovation work to be performed at the final location: 840-27 Saxon Blvd. Orange City, FL 32763.
The first move will take place on June 25th, 2012. The move will not disrupt services to jobseekers and businesses. The second move is expected to take place in the Fall of 2012.
The CBE sees this as an excellent opportunity to better serve West Volusia County residents and businesses as Orange City is more centrally located.

The One-Stop Center telephone number will remain unchanged: (386) 740-3232.

  1. While this move will help those in SW Volusia (myself included), why is the center being moved from DeLand to Orange City, as opposed to an additional facility being opened?

    1. Hello David. Good question!

We don't have the option to stay at the current location, because the space will be used by Frontiers to expand its operations. Frontiers' expansion is actually phenomenal news to us as it implies that - over time - DeLand will gain jobs.

But even if we could stay in DeLand we just couldn't afford to open an additional location. We agree with you: It would be phenomenal to have offices in each city - we just don't have the budget for it.

David, let us know if you have more questions and we'll be glad to assist you.

      Wishing you success,

      The CBE team
