Think twice before you e-mail – even if you believe you are anonymous

Recently, I was copied on a scathing e-mail sent by an anonymous source on a subject outside the scope of work. It lied somewhere between Jerry Maguire’s Manifesto and Harper Valley PTA. Whether the points made were valid or not (I truly do not know), it made me feel sickened to read it.
On a positive note, the e-mail did serve as an excellent reminder to edit yourself before communicating, especially in an electronic-driven world.
