Beware of Jobs Too Good to Be True
It's a tough economy out there and unscrupulous people always find a way to prey on someone, even desperate jobseekers.
If you hear about a job that sounds too good to be true, do a little investigating. No legitimate employer would ask for your credit card or social security number when you apply for a job or at an interview.
And be careful where you post your personal information. You don't know where the information is going and who is using it once it's online. Read more about how to avoid job scams
